Encoruagement for Today 4/30/18

Happy Monday!

You may be sitting at your desk already, getting your morning coffee, picking the kids up from school, completing your school assignments or getting ready for bed. Monday’s can be tough for us all. A new week means new responsibilities, new meals to cook, new posts to like and of course new hurdles to jump. I want you to know that no matter where you are, what you have done or will do today that GOD LOVES YOU. You could be thinking that he couldn’t love a person who is about to get a divorce, he couldn’t love a person whose children are acting out in school or he couldn’t love a person who yelled at a stranger in traffic. The reality is HE COULD and HE DOES.

Many religious people would say that God only loves those who do right all of the time. Well, if that’s the case he loves no one. None of us can say that we do the right thing all of the time. All of us can say that he loves us though. I don’t know what you’re going through right now but I do know that God is faithful even when we are faithless, meaning when we are down and about to give up on him, his loves never runs out and never gives up on us. I’m not just talking about you reading this post but his love never gives up on your cousin whose on drugs, your best friend whose sleeping with a married man. His love never gives up nor runs out even for the person who sins the most. He is faithful to his word so it never returns void.

Today I pray that you are reminded of his LOVE for YOU because it is everlasting. I pray that you come to understand his unconditional love for us all, so that even in the midst of a busy, not so fun or blah Monday we can love others like he loves us. I pray that each and every one of you have an encounter with your heavenly father this week that will open your eyes to his undying love.

Be Blessed Always,

Bri

Greater

Changes

Hello Everyone!

I hope that all is well with you. We are almost five months into 2018 and I must say this year is all about change for me. I am not only changing and growing into my own woman but I am changing the way that I see myself. I am now viewing myself as God see’s me. For many years I have conformed to what my parents have wanted for me, never thinking about what God wants and has for my life. That stops this year. Seeking God diligently for the past year has really brought things to the light that had been hidden all of my life. So I am changing. Changing the way I speak to people, changing the way I let people speak to and treat me. I am excited yet very nervous. I know that this is what God wants me to do and I also know that people do not like when you make changes. I pray that he gives me the courage and strength to live out his best for my life.

Are any of you making any changes this year?

Prayer for 2018

Heavenly Father,

I come to you today so grateful to have seen 2017 and so blessed to be able to see 2018. I love your love for me; it is so overwhelmingly amazing. I want to take time out to thank you for being God, thank you for not being like man. Thank you for your mercies that are new every day. I declare great grace over 2018! I declare that all is well with everyone who is reading this prayer. Father, I thank you for healthy bodies and sound minds in 2018. I thank you for being such a loving and kind father. 2018 will be a year of us drawing near to you, seeking your face and not your hand. 2018 will be a year of us knowing that our identity is in you alone. I thank for all of my gifts, and I thank you for every person reading this post, may they know who loves them and who has a great plan for their lives.   In Jesus name!

Amen

Can I Pray for you?

Hello All!

Is there anything I can stand with you in prayer about? Recently I was convicted about my prayer life. I usually don’t pray for anyone unless they are going through something and I feel as if they need prayer. In my quiet time, I was prompted to be more aware of the needs of those around me. I should be praying for businesses, clients, co-workers and everyone else who I cross paths with.

I had the opportunity to speak into one of my client’s lives today, and it made me write a letter to God praying for this particular person. During my quiet time, it became apparent that praying for others needed to be done every single day. What if I prayed for all of my clients during my quiet time? How would having someone stand with them in prayer impact their lives? How would having someone thank God for their lives help them? A lot of time has gone by, and I no longer want to ignore the role I can play in the lives of those who I impact.

So I ask again, What can I pray with/ for you about? Comment below or email your requests to peaceduringthejourney@gmail.com

God Bless,

Bri

Midweek Motivation 7/12/17

I am so blessed to have a community of people who I can connect with to share the love of christ.

How often do you share the love of christ? To me, sharing the message of God’s unconditional love is my life’s mission. Everyone deserves to be loved and know that they are loved by their creator. I do my best to treat people with respect and love them as God loves me. At times I do fall short but I never let that stop me from doing what I feel is most important. Each time I get to speak with someone who might be going through a difficult time I let them know that they are loved.

How do I know that God loves them? I know God loves them because he loves us all. I know that God loves them because I seek his face and he has shown me his everlasting love. I truly believe that if we focus on God’s love for us that we will live better lives. We will be more positive, compassionate and successful if and when we focus on God’s love. His love for us grows daily and it can not be compared. His love can not be replaced and there is nothing that can separate us from God’s love.

Today I want to encourage you to share the love of christ with everyone you come in contact with this week. Share in the comments about your experience and I’ll be sure to share mine.

Be blessed,

Bri

Midweek Motivation

How often do you committ your plans to the lord?

We are half way through the year and I just realized that my calendar is filled with appointments and deadline week in and week out. Most of those appointments I didn’t speak to God about I just said yes. Why is it important to seek God about your plans? God can and will give us wisdom about everything, maybe there is a community group that you want to join and it meets 4x a week. If you seek God before saying yes, he could tell you that 4x a week is a little much for you.

God knows before we know when we are over booking ourselves. I committed to going to the gym 4x a week before work, knowing good and well that I am not a morning person and wouldn’t be thrilled about getting up at 6:30am to work out and still be at work by 9:00am.

Now is the time to sit down and lay out your plans before the Lord. He is here to lead and guide us. He is here to give us wisdom and ultimately help us each step of the way. Comment below and let me know how you committ your plans to the Lord and I will keep you all posted on my progress.
Talk soon,

I look forward to sharing more about my debt free journey but most importantly I look forward to sharing Jesus with all of you each and every wednesday.
